Compensation and Benefits
The expected base salary range for this position, when hired into our Toronto location, is CAD $117,000-143,000 per year. For positions based in other jurisdictions, compensation will be determined in alignment with local regulations, market benchmarks, and internal compensation frameworks. The above range reflects the typical base salary range for candidates hired into this position. The actual salary will vary depending on a number of factors, including job location, experience, qualifications, education/training, skills, market conditions, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
In addition to base salary, eligible employees may participate in our annual incentive program, payment under which is at the discretion of PartnerRe and subject to individual and company performance. Eligible employees also have the opportunity to participate in an array of benefits, including medical, dental and vision coverage, a health spending account, a defined contribution pension plan, life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, etc.
Working Arrangement
PartnerRe operates with a hybrid work approach that balances in‑office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Our employees are required to be in the office 3 days a week. Our goal is to create an environment where employees can connect, innovate, and perform at their best.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner with deep expertise in leading end-to-end hiring across functions, levels, and global markets. Brings strong market intelligence, a proactive advisory approach, and a sense of urgency to deliver high-caliber talent for complex, hard-to-fill roles.
Recognized for leveraging innovative sourcing strategies, industry networks, and data-driven insights to influence hiring decisions, enhance employer brand, and drive efficient, high-quality recruitment outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across functions, levels, and global markets, with an emphasis on deeply understanding business needs and translating them into targeted search strategies—particularly for complex, hard-to-fill roles across reinsurance, actuarial, underwriting, risk, and finance.
- Develop and implement proactive talent sourcing strategies, leveraging deep market insights, industry networks, and advanced sourcing methodologies.
- Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and senior leadership, influencing talent decisions by providing data-driven insights on market trends, compensation, and talent availability.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with passive and active candidates, ensuring a high-touch experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Promote PartnerRe’s employer brand across the reinsurance market by leveraging social networks, industry events, and strategic partnerships to enhance visibility, attract top talent, and position the firm as an employer of choice.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to design, refine, and implement DEI-focused hiring strategies that attract a diverse talent pool.
- Oversee and enhance the candidate assessment and selection process, ensuring alignment with business needs and long-term talent goals.
- Utilize and optimize recruitment technologies (LinkedIn Recruiter), ATS platform (Success Factors), data analytics to drive efficiency and continuous improvement in hiring processes.
- Leverage generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot/ChatGPT) to drive efficiencies across the recruitment lifecycle (e.g., sourcing, screening, stakeholder communications etc).
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior TA team members, fostering a culture of excellence in talent acquisition.
Technical Skills and Behaviorial Competencies:
- Deep industry knowledge of reinsurance/insurance hiring needs, market dynamics, and talent landscapes.
- Expertise in sourcing and engaging passive talent, using innovative attraction strategies, Social media, AI tools and market intelligence.
- Strong understanding of global talent trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive intelligence within financial services and reinsurance.
- Passion for driving employer branding, talent marketing, and DEI recruitment initiatives.
- Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity and a proactive drive to understand the business, its priorities, and evolving talent needs—translating this insight into effective hiring strategies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with a strong sense of urgency.
Work Experience and Education:
- 7+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally within reinsurance, insurance, financial services, or a related industry.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions with a consultative approach, ensuring high-quality and timely hiring outcomes
- Proven ability to engage, influence, and partner with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
- Hands-on experience with ATS platforms, HR analytics tools, and recruitment automation to enhance efficiency.
- Experience in SAP (Success Factors) will be considered a bonus
- Experience in managing Global searches covering multiple locations will be considered a bonus
- Bachelors Degree in a related discipline preferred
