We are looking to hire an Intern for a nine-month contract to join our growing team in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Pricing (ANZ and Korea). In this role you will be responsible for a small number of topics. In more details your responsibilities may include:

• Setting up the claim’s referrals to PartnerRe in the system;
• Helping the UW and claims team streamline and document client underwriting and claims guidelines, treaty parameters consistently and methodically and to create standardization and benchmarking ability based;
• Support the team on data analytics as required;
• Assist the team in creating a streamlined document repository on common drive
• Assist the team in creating power point decks for trainings
• Any other project or activity as required by the PartnerRe L&H APAC team

Qualifications

We are looking for an intern who seeks challenge and has a desire to learn about new products, markets and underwriting and claims approaches. You wish to work in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment with colleagues possessing a wide and varied range of experiences.

In addition, to be an ideal candidate you have the following background, skills and mindset:

• Student with an actuarial/statistical/ finance or science background
• Microsoft Office experience, advanced Excel, analytical and power point skills
• Well-organized, proactive, creative and solution oriented
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken skills are necessary
• Highly motivated, openness for continuous improvement
