JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused and solution-oriented Senior Project Manager to join the Life & Health business unit’s Project Management office. This role will be based in our Hong Kong or Singapore office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Project Management
- Manage assigned L&H projects, including commercial, infrastructure, and compliance initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and within scope by overseeing all aspects of the project.
- Work with project team to define project plans including milestones, roles and responsibilities, monitor and summarize/communicate progress of project (including budgets, forecasts and actuals) and proactively manage vendors (where applicable), budget, project scope changes, risks, issues and expectations.
Governance
- Support the PMO responsibilities for development, implementation, maintenance and running of:

- a project portfolio reporting framework/infrastructure for the Life & Health business unit
- L&H project management framework (templates, methodology, tools)
Support activities can include and not limited to:
-
- Hands-on contribution to the definition and implementation of the frameworks
- Looking for opportunities for continuous improvements to both frameworks
- Working with L&H Project Managers outside the PMO team to ensure projects adhere to L&H Project management best practices
- Management of L&H Project Portfolio Reporting frameworks
- Providing necessary support and templates to involved stakeholders
- Providing consolidated and consistent regular project portfolio reporting to various stakeholders (Board, Life & Health employees, PartnerRe employees, etc)
- Maintenance and reporting of project portfolio’s budget financials
- Provide project management consulting/guidance to L&H Project Managers outside the PMO team to help improve their projects
Process & Business Analysis
Work with business:

- to analyze and define processes (activity steps, roles & responsibilities) and requirements.
- to implement the agreed processes incl. compilation of appropriate process implementation material such as training documents and executing training
Relationship Management
Develops and manages effective business relationships and communication channels with stakeholders within the Life & Health business unit as well as across the broader PartnerRe organization
