Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Copilot Deployment & Adoption Lead to drive the company-wide rollout and maximize the impact of Microsoft 365 Copilot.

As the principal Copilot expert and change management lead, you will partner with all business units to identify high-value use cases, design and implement custom Copilot agents, and drive both adoption and self-service automation. In this role, you will oversee every stage of the Copilot deployment—configuring environments, adapting solutions for evolving business needs, and developing governance and training programs to ensure effective and responsible Copilot use across the company.

About the Role

  • Lead Copilot Deployment & Change Management: Plan and oversee the phased deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot across all PartnerRe locations, in line with our change management strategy.
  • Ensure broad adoption by making Copilot relevant to each team’s work. Take a “hands-on” approach to change management, fostering engagement and enthusiasm, aligning deployment with business goals, and adjusting the rollout plan based on feedback and adoption metrics.
  • Work closely with business unit leaders and subject-matter experts to identify and prioritize high-impact use cases for Copilot in various functions. Showcase how Copilot’s AI capabilities can streamline each department’s workflows to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Prompt Engineering & Best Practices: Serve as the internal expert on prompt engineering and Copilot capabilities. Advise users and teams on how to craft effective prompts and queries to get optimal results from Copilot, and on how to interpret and refine Copilot’s outputs.
  • Using Microsoft’s Copilot Studio and related tools, develop and configure custom Copilot “agents” or extensions tailored to PartnerRe’s needs.
  • Oversee PartnerRe’s Copilot user enablement program to ensure employees become confident, self-sufficient Copilot users. Coordinate with dedicated training professionals to design and schedule Copilot training sessions tailored to each business unit’s context. Organize a variety of learning opportunities (formal training courses, interactive workshops, “lunch & learn” demos, etc.) to drive engagement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and first point of contact for Copilot-related inquiries – providing hands-on guidance and coaching so employees learn how and when to use Copilot effectively rather than doing the work for them.
  • Define key adoption and usage KPIs for Copilot (e.g. active usage rates, user satisfaction, productivity metrics) and track these across business units.
  • In partnership with IT/security teams, establish and enforce governance policies and “guardrails” for Copilot use and agent development across the enterprise.

Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot. Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio is required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability in prompt engineering and be familiar with Copilot’s limitations. Knowledge of related AI technologies and the general landscape of generative AI tools will be beneficial (GPT, Anthropic, Gemini,…).
  • Strong general IT skills with aptitude to quickly learn new technologies. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is a plus. Experience with basic scripting or process automation and understanding how to link data sources or APIs to AI tools, is helpful.
  • Demonstrated skill in change management and user engagement. The candidate should have experience orchestrating technology adoption campaigns or training programs at scale. Must understand how to communicate changes effectively, inspire enthusiasm for new tools, and educate users with varying levels of tech savvy. Excellent training and communication abilities are required
  • While this role will coordinate with professional trainers for formal sessions, the candidate should be comfortable conducting live demos or workshops when needed and coaching individuals or small groups on how to use Copilot.
  • 2 years experience and Bachelor's degree

Soft Skills

  • Strategic thinker and self-starter – able to set a vision for how Copilot can transform work at PartnerRe and proactively take steps to realize that vision. Strong leadership and influencing skills – capable of rallying cross-functional teams and championing new ideas.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with everyone from end-users to C-suite executives.
  • Problem-solving mindset: resourceful in overcoming obstacles and addressing users’ issues or concerns with Copilot.
